ALD

The instruction above moves the top of the logic stack one position below and places in this position the result of a logical and between the value contained in this new top and that one contained in the anterior top.

The analogy that can be made with a relay panel is that the instruction above represents the placing in series two sets of relays.

OLD

The instruction above moves the top of the logic stack a position below and places in this position the result of a logical or between the value contained in this new top and that one contained in the anterior top.

The analogy that can be made with a relay panel is that the instruction above represents the placing in parallel two sets of relays.
